We present .BB, Banco do Brasil’s new innovative space in Recife.
A concept that blends the digital and physical worlds, offering a modern way to connect with people.
The pilot project was born in the heart of a vibrant city, and the entire campaign was inspired by the culture of Recife.
Woodcut printmaking (xilogravura), a strong element of the local culture, was our greatest inspiration.
We created a 3D version of the original woodcut matrix and, from there, spread the campaign far and wide.
We had the honor of working with Bacaro Borges, a talented young woodcut artist and son of the renowned J. Borges, a true icon of Brazilian folk art.
At the beginning of the process, Bacaro sketched out some rough drafts of the characters, exploring bold lines and expressive features in the traditional woodcut style. It was from those first sketches that the entire visual identity began to take shape. The final illustrations were created using the brand’s primary and secondary colors.
We created a wide range of DOOH formats across Recife and the Porto Digital area to promote Banco do Brasil’s new space in the city.
